Clean Girl: How Cool Girls Practice Clean Beauty - Part 2
Hello again Gurus!
I hope you didn’t have to wait too long, since everyone was loving part one of the sustainable clean brands for clean girls. I thought I would do a little part two and get you gurus informed of the go-to clean makeup brands of the summer season. Anyways, I am going to show you gurus even more gorgeously sustainable products that I’m sure you will absolutely love. Let’s get started.
Honest Beauty: Celebrity Brand
First of all, I’m going to be discussing honest beauty which is a celebrity brand of Jessica Albas. Not only is Honest Beauty a makeup brand but the brand commits to practicing in clean and safe beauty for the skin and also the environment. Jessica Alba states on her website:
“Since day one it has been my goal to build a diverse, inclusive, and ethical company based on values of transparency, trust, sustainability and a deep sense of purpose in all we do.”
The brand has also banned over 3500 questionable ingredients that are commonly found in beauty products and also has donated over 25 million products to families in need. So this brand is a great company if you are looking to purchase into sustainable values and also great products.
The first product that I will showcase is the Honest tinted lip balm. This moisturising balm is enriched with avocado, acai and pomegranate oils to keep those lips feeling nourished and juicy. With a subtle tint to give you that just woke up natural look. This product is designed to lock in moisture for up to six hours so promises to keep your lips smooth throughout the day. How amazing is that, I find myself constantly reapplying lip balm, so this product is a genuine lifesaver and also means that less product is used. Now we all know that some liquid lipsticks can feel extremely drying on the lips, however this product has been designed to instant;y hydratw the lips and keep your lips nourished all day. Okay, I am literally obsessed with cream blushes, and I just have to share this product with you gurus because I don’t want you to miss out. I am calling all of the coral blush girls. I am obsessed with coral toned blushes, they are my go-to for morning, noon and night, I just absolutely love them. They look amazing on all skin tones and undertones and a staple for everyone’s makeup kit. An absolute favourite of mine is the Honest Crème Cheek Blush in Coral Peach it is the most gorgeous colour. Not only for the cheeks but you can double up as a lip blush colour for a cohesive makeup look. These blushes are buildable and give a dewy fresh finish, perfect for that clean girl aesthetic. Pacifica Beauty
Okay gurus, so the next brand that I will be discussing is the 100% vegan and cruelty free brand ‘Pacifica’. This beauty brand is all about the planet, almost 30 years old and their ground values have centred around compassion, compassion for the planet, animals, and the consumer. With these three values in mind, the brand has gone on to create beauty products that are not only sustainable, but also protecting animals and also great on the skin. Pacifica abide by strict compassion standards which ban over 1,800 ingredients that Pacifica believe to be unsuitable for their high quality of products. Pacifica also have a range of unique products that I think you gurus will all love.
The first product that I will discuss is the Pacifica perfumed hair and body mist. I love the idea of having a spray that is formulated to be used on hair.
